Greetings Brothers!
I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving and are gearing up for an intentional and prayerful Advent starting this Sunday. Thank you for being a subscriber to this blog, for your witness to living the Catholic Faith, and your desire to GROW in prayer, virtue, and vocation as a Catholic man.
The season of Advent is a time of preparation and anticipation for Christmas. As brothers in Christ, I would like to invite you to join me in taking this season to rally around a few simple disciplines to help us grow deeper in prayer, more present to God and our families, and more ready to receive the gift of the Newborn King on Christmas morning.
If you are up to the challenge, here are the guidelines:
Pray the Angelus Daily 🙏 — Set your alarm for the 12 o'clock hour and pause to pray & meditate on the Incarnation.
Daily Mental Prayer/Silence 🔥— Pick a daily time and set a 10 minute timer. Practice simply being in the presence of God. If your mind wanders, gently bring it back. Persevere.
10k Daily Steps + Get SOME of them Outside❄️👣— Let's work on staying active and at the same time embrace the Advent cold and darkness in preparation for the light.
Friday Cold Showers and Fasting 🚿🍽️ — Join your brothers in giving up warm water today and fasting from Breakfast and Lunch.
Sunday Media Fast 📴 — Put your phone in a drawer and take a break from the internet today to be more present to God and family.
What say you, brother?
If you are **IN**, join the chat and let me know below and let’s enter this Advent season boldly looking forward to the coming of The Lord!

God bless and be with you today! —
